Therapeutic Style and Approach
Evidence-Based Modalities
Paige draws from several evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual. For example:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Helps clients identify and shift unhelpful thinking patterns that contribute to emotional distress and behavioral struggles.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Paige is partially trained in EMDR — an extensive training that takes over 18 months to complete — and uses it as part of her trauma-informed care approach.
Trauma-Informed Care
Paige works in collaboration with you to create a solid treatment plan, provide a diagnosis to better understand your struggles, and give recommendations on how frequently you should attend sessions to quickly meet your goals. The more work you do outside of session, the sooner you will feel better.
Professional Background
Paige is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Winona and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Kansas.
Moreover, she gained her specialty in eating disorders and addiction after working for an intensive outpatient day treatment program. As a result, she developed a uniquely deep understanding of these complex areas.
