Jennifer has a long history of helping individuals and families achieve life goals they never thought were possible. When you first meet “Jenn” you will see how passionate she is about her work by her positive energy and genuine interest in getting to know you. She is very easy to relate to as she has a large variety of interests but mostly it is because she naturally connects with everyone she meets. Jenn’s ability to be an active listener, helps you feel heard and understood. Due to her extensive training and experience, she uses a wide variety of tools and approaches depending on what you are needing help with. Your work with her will be a fully catered treatment experience.
The 20 years of experience allows her to quickly gets to task, to help you find the education and perspective that will get you on the track to healing.
She will teach you behavioral modification techniques to meet your goals. The best part of the work that Jenn provides, is you won’t even notice what or how she is doing it. You will feel at ease by the end of your first session and depending on how much time you invest in your therapy homework outside of session and how frequently you are seen, it will take very little time to see your work and hers, pay off. You will quickly find yourself looking at life differently, looking forward to your next session and seeing immediate results. Jenn has the ability to help children as young as 6 (*see below) all the way up to later life stages. She see’s individuals, couples and families.

Jenn is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). She attended Mankato State University for her undergrad and received her graduate degree from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. Her expertise lies in working with children over 10, adolescents, adults, and couples. Her experience working in the community mental health field as a crisis therapist has immensely impacted how effective she is at seeing what barriers may be preventing you from making progress. She has also spent a great deal of time in the hospital settings, and in schools. You will leave her office feeling understood and validated. She treats those struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, ADHD, substance abuse, life transitions and relational discord.

With a focus on family dynamics, Jennifer excels in helping parents improve relationships and communication within their families, whether traditional, blended, or co-parenting situations. She values therapy as a safe space for self-discovery and personal growth, integrating trauma-informed, psycho-dynamic, and person-centered approaches with mindfulness techniques.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys camping with her family, traveling, and maintaining her mental well-being through regular gym visits. She strives to create a warm and open atmosphere for clients to explore their unique personalities and experiences.

***In some situations, Jennifer is able to see children as young as 6 if they can maintain a quiet voice in the lobby as there is massages going on most hours of the day right off the waiting room. We realize this is not going to work for some children and families. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Self-pay rate $165 (53-55 min session)

For active clients, please email in the portal. If you need to cancel or reschedule you are able to do this within the portal and it is the best place to let her know about having to cancel late through the messaging tab. (envelope icon)

Contacting her about ongoing clinical matters is discouraged as it is not HIPAA compliant and should be reserved for in-session time.
