Paige Jacobsen LICSW

Paige has immediate openings in person and via telehealth and accepts the following plans: Health Partners, Cigna, BCBS, Aetna, First Health, UCARE and Private Pay (HSA or major CC).

Paige is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Winona and a Master’s degree in social work from the University of Kansas. Her wealth of education and experience has been working with adolescents (12 and up) and adult struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and grief. She specializes in treating substance abuse and eating disorders.

Don’t let Paige’s youthful face fool you. She is wise beyond her years, offering a warm and welcoming persona that immediately helps her clients feel comfortable opening up and sharing their struggles. She is an active listener with deep insight as to what barriers may be preventing you from seeing yourself worthy of change.

Paige utilizing various evidence-based treatment modalities, including trauma-informed care and is partially training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Although she is not fully certified, she is still able to utilize this technique in session. Full certification for EMDR is quite extensive and she is well on her way to achieving this. She is committed to helping her clients navigate their journey towards healing and well-being by pulling from the technique and modality that fit your best.

With her most recent experience in an outpatient setting providing intensive treatment for substance abuse and eating disorder, Paige prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships with her clients. Paige firmly believes in the inherent value of every individual and is dedicated to helping her clients discover their own solutions to their challenges, with the understanding that everyone deserves a life that brings them happiness.

Paige enjoys spending her free time with her family, camping, traveling and seeking new adventures.

For active clients, please email in the portal. If you need to cancel or reschedule you are able to do this within the portal and it is the best place to let her know about having to cancel late through the messaging tab. (envelope icon)

Contacting her about ongoing clinical matters is discouraged as it is not HIPAA compliant and should be reserved for in-session time.
